Senior Women's Winter League Football
2021 Women's Sunday League Results
The MCUFC women's team had a successful 2021, losing only 2 games early in the season. The ladies improved as the season progressed and were scoring a lot of goals and keeping clean sheets particularly in the second half of the competition.
We finished the league in 2nd position and progressed into the top tier of the competition. We completed 3 weeks of the Championship before Covid-19 lockdowns meant the season had to end abruptly. The Championship wasn't completed so the final season results were as they stood at the end of the league.
We're extremely proud of our second placing and move forward into 2022 with more experience and a team keen to get back on the field asap.

PRE-SEASON
Pre-season will start in the first week of March 2022.
TRAINING
Training is held during the week after work from 6:00pm at Argyle Park, Ashburton.
Day(s) to be confirmed.
GAMES
Games are played on Sunday mornings, with kick off at 10:30am. We play home games at The Domain in Ashburton and away games in Christchurch.
The season runs from May to September/October

Players must be prepared to travel to Christchurch every second weekend for games.
